The Primary purpose of the S.H. Bergman Center for Philosophical Studies is to stimulate the study of philosophy at the Hebrew University. Research Projects in philosophy which are sponsored by the center include:

1. The publication of Iyyun, The Jerusalem Philosophical Quarterly.

2. A series of International conferences: The Jerusalem Philosophical Encounters.
