Hispania Judaica Bulletin is an academic journal devoted to Iberian Jewry. It is an annual trilingual journal. The articles published in the Bulletin encompass every domain of Judeo-Hispanic studies: History, philosophy, Art, Music, Literature, Language, Law, Kabbalah, Bible, Talmud, Archeology and Folklore. The Iberian Peninsula is the exclusive focus of all articles. The Sephardi diaspora is, therefore, outside the boundaries of the Bulletin, unless the topic is directly related to the Iberian background.

The Bulletin has a bibliography section, whose goal is to bring to scholars and students the most recent publications in all languages on the history of the Jews in the Iberian Peninsula.

In addition, the Bulletin has a list of manuscripts from books in libraries around the world. All copies of these manuscripts can be found in the department of Manuscripts and the Institute of Microfilmed Hebrew Manuscripts at the National Library of Israel.

The last two volumes of the Hispania Judaica Bulletin (vol. 10, vol. 11), published in 2014-2015, are dedicated to the memory of Yom Tov Assis, the center's head for many years. These volumes (with articles in Hebrew, English and Spanish) published by the Mandel Institute of Jewish Studies and the Ben-Zvi Institute for the Study of Jewish Communities in the East.

We also present here a bibliographical list from volumes 5-8 of the Bulletin, published between the years 2007-2011. Most of the titles which appear in it were published between the years 2002-2009, although there are some earlier titles (from 1995 onwards). All titles deal with the Jews of Spain and Portugal.

We invite you to offer us new titles, which are not included in this list, dealing with the same main interest. Write to

We will update the list with new titles and add more publications from other years in the future.
